Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 28, 2026
1. What this covers
This Privacy Policy explains what information Pollbee collects when you use pollbee.fun and related domains (the “Service”), and how we use and share it.
2. Information we collect
- Account info. When you sign up with email, we collect your email address and an encrypted password. When you sign in with a third-party provider (such as Google or X), we receive your email and basic profile information from that provider.
- Polls you create. Your question text, any photo you upload, and the answer options published with your poll.
- Votes. The option you select. We do not display who voted for what. To prevent duplicate voting, we store a one-way hash derived from a random identifier stored in a cookie on your device — not your account email.
- Points history. A record of points awarded to your account and the reason (signup, create poll, vote, referral).
- Cookies. Necessary cookies for sign-in, voting, and remembering which polls you have already voted on.
3. How we use information
- To operate the Service: sign you in, save polls, count votes.
- To generate kind answer options using an AI model.
- To award and track points, including referrals.
- To prevent abuse, fraud, and duplicate voting.
- To respond to your questions and improve the Service.
4. Service providers
We share information with third parties only as needed to run the Service:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
- Vercel — hosting and edge delivery.
- Anthropic — AI model used to generate poll answer options. Your question text, and any photo you attach, are sent to Anthropic for that purpose.
- Google and X (Twitter) — when you choose to sign in with these providers. They share basic profile information with us according to their own policies.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Public content
Polls you publish (your question, any photo you upload, the answer options, and the vote totals) are visible to anyone with the link and may be discoverable through the Explore page. Do not post a photo, name, or other detail you would not want a stranger to see.
6. Data retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Polls and votes are kept until you delete the poll or close your account. After account deletion, we may retain limited information as required by law or to prevent abuse.
7. Your choices
- You can delete any poll you created from its page.
- You can request account deletion by emailing hello@pollbee.fun.
- You can clear cookies in your browser; this will reset which polls you are marked as having voted on.
8. Children
Pollbee is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us and we will remove it.
9. International users
Pollbee is operated from the United States. By using the Service, you consent to your information being processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be announced on the site.
